Left side engine covers
anyone seen some CF (or otherwise) engine covers that will fit our hypers to protect the left side?

Hey Col, I just bought a 4v carbon one and trimmed a small section out of the top where it wraps around the 4v waterpump, it now fits my 1000DS like a glove!

redracing in Italy about $250 AUD delivered I think, not cheap, but its pretty neat gear, carbon outer, kevlar inner made by plastic bike. Fitted it with a lot selastic adhesive. Passed scrutineering so its all good
seen some cheaper sets on ebay, but given the amount of money I poured into building this thing I am ot going to risk the cases by skimping on a few bucks this late in the caper

That's the one, I think mine is a bit higher. I trimmed the left side section to get rid of the curves made for the 4v pumps and then used a heap of silicon glue to fit it, it's not 100% flush but very close and once the glue set it came up fine!
