Upgrade to Hyper S, or Streetfighter S?
Well, after a few months of some great riding, just away to sit my test
I picked up an ex-dem Hyper for a decent price, but since have been thinking I really should have gone for the S.....I know, I know, probably the base model is still more than I need!
Luckily, I have a couple of options:
1: I am able to swap up to the S for not too much of a loss. Is this really worth the hassle, or would I be better slowly upgrading the base model?
2: I did originally want the streetfighter, and still lust after it! Are there any other Hyper owners considering the change? And if so, why? Have not yet had the chance to test ride, so it might not be for me.....good to hear some of your opinions though, as above, would also be able to trade up to it.
I live in Switzerland, and am very close to the mountains....so would be mostly riding there, not in the cities. Also, would not be track riding at the moment, but may consider popping over to Germany to try it now and again.
I do love riding the hyper, but unfortunately thanks to this site I have upgradeitus!! Don't want to pour money into a bike if I am going to swap it in a couple of years!
Thanks in advance for your advice!

I have the HYM 1100 base and think its fine. If you're going to trade up I would get the Streetfighter S hands down! No contest there IMO.

Having ridden both they are very different machines.
While StreetF-S was cool as hell it never gave me 'must have' feeling like HM-S did on my test ride.

Hehe, maybe is related to the HOG, seeing as my wife just bought a harley!!
Sakucee, interesting comment. I do seem to be getting that feeling, guess i will really need to try for myself. If you had the option, after test riding both....which would you actually purchase?
Still considering the upgrades to my base hyper...but looking at the prices of the wheels, monoblocks etc, don't think it would really make sense...better swapping out for an S. Aaaaargh decisions decisions.
On a positive note, the weather is getting better, and should be great on the wknd so for a couple of days, will just enjoy riding!

Hi DuCH
Living just outside Zürich. Which spare parts do you have? Could be interested.

i still would go for HM-S, still prefer the extremely agile turning of the bike and 2valve sounds, i prefer the riding position more too... and the low speed torque-wheelies are always a plus.

I would also go for the hyper, but then again I am not a fan of the looks of the SF and the reviews I have been reading aren't really blow your socks off reviews, unlike the review for the hyper when it appeared on the scene.
