Loose Seat? Quick Fix

I got fed up with the way my DP race seat wobbled side to side. So I pulled the rubber bumpers and put a large washer under it (between the bumper and the frame hole) to raise the rubber bumper and remove the gap between it and the seat bottom.

Not the most elegant fix, but you can't see it once the seat is re-installed and I did it over a month ago and it has held up fine.

very nice ... i will try this when i get back home.

have been using adhesive backed rubber gasket material to accomplish this, but the adhesive fails after a month or so, then the gasket falls out and the seat starts to wobble again.

your solution looks really cool.

My stock seat did the same, I fitted 3 mm washers under each side and now it is perfect.
