Kyle Throttle Tube question...
Just wondering what you guys that have them think about it? I"m looking to take out the "twitchy" throttle from just off idle in 1st gear. Stock is very twitchy. I've been riding some dirt roads and jumping curbs, and the bike is just to jumpy in first gear just off idle. I"m looking to tame it down a little so I have better control.

No it's not rider error. This was talked about a few times. I've been clutching it through tight slow turns, but can't do that while standing on the pegs. Any "off" road riding is extra tricky due to this. That's why I'm asking about it before I spend a $100 bucks on a tube...

I'm very happy with the Kyle TT. Some people think the cam is too steep at the far end but I like the bike to go fast when I really ask for throttle.
The KTT is smooth, I haven't really noticed any twitchy tendencies since the installation.

LOL, Yeah, some of the roads I ride turn into gravel/dirt for a while. I have a small tackle box, and a collapsible fishing rod and like to ride the dirt roads to some good fishing spots.....
I ride slow on these roads, and the twitcky throttle is killing me. Plus, I want to have some fun on these roads. That's what the garden hose is for. Washing the dirt off...

You might want to look into the G2 throttle tube as an less expensive alterantive and on that you can change the cams on to suit your preference. I like mine and others have said the same as it cleans up the throttle slop some and also makes rolling on less abrupt.
However, I think the twithiness you describe at low speed is more attributable to the gearing ratio in 1st gear combined with a relatively high idle speed. This in my opinion results in more difficulty in controlling the bike when idling or riding low speed. You may also need to gear down some to control this problem at low speed, as I think the throttle is only part of the problem.
Out!

Well, it sounds cool and is only $99. How often can you say that with any performance accessory for our bikes! Do it, and post up a review

I agree! I installed a 14t front and don't have any throttle issues at any speed.

I have the Kyle throttle tube and it made a pretty drastic difference with the twitchiness in my opinion. I've found much more trust in the throttle in a slow, sharp corner. I'd do it again or try the G2 since it's cheaper. Go for it!
