12000klm service

If anyone has had it done at the dealer how much was it and what exactly do they do? I guess this would be about 8000 miles for all the riders in the States. I heard they do the valve shims. But thats about it other than regular stuff, oil etc. Thanks...

Oil etc, bolt tightening, valve check + adjustment, my receipt had total of 12hrs of work i think.

do they change spark plugs or anything?

Check of spark plugs is in my list of items that has been done on the service sheet.

I called one dealer and they said they do the valves, replace belts and pretty much go over the entire bike. Tighten bolts etc..but he quoted about $700.00. Does this seem about right??

Replacing belts is not in my list, just check of them, i think the interval for them is 24000/2 years, you got 2 years up?
