Don't know if you have tried this but if you go to the power commander web site you can get a list of the shops in your area that have been certified by them. I found the nearest one to me is Havasu. But I have not tried them yet.

You want to go to GoAZ Motorcycles (formerly Scottdale BMW/Ducati). They have two techs (Mark Ledesma, former AMA racer) that do the dyno work over there and they are both very good. They have very good customer service and everyone is very nice. I have known their parts manager Duane for some time now.

They have one of the nicest dyno rooms I have seen. They did my work and my bike runs strong. I had mine over there three times after different mods. If you are doing the PCIII, expect to pay around $225 for a custom map. Maybe less if they can start with mine and go from there.

One of my favorite CDB songs................."Long Haired Country Boy".

"Long Haired Country Boy"

People say I'm no good and crazy as a loon 'cause I get up in the morning,
I get down in the afternoon. Kind of like my old blue tick hound I like to lay
around in the shade. And I ain't got no money but I damn sure got it made.
'Cause I ain't aking nobody for nothing if I can't get it on my own. If you
don't like the way I'm living you just leave this long haired country boy alone.

Preacher man talking on TV, and puttin' down the rock and roll. Wants me
to send a donation 'cause he's worried about my sould. He said, "Jesus
walked on the water." And I know that it's true. But sometimes I think that
preacher man would like to do a little walking too. But I ain't asking nobody
for nothing if I can't get it on my own. If you don't like the way I'm living
you just leave this long haired country boy alone.

A poor girl wants to marry and a rich girl wants to flirt. A rich man goes
to college and a poor man goes to work. A drunkard wants another drink
of wine, and a politician wants the vote. I don't want much of nothing at
all, but I will tell another joke. 'Cause I ain't aking nobody for nothing if
I can't get it on my own. If you don't like the way I'm living you just
leave this long haired country boy alone.

The other tech there probably has more Duc tuning experience and used to work for Fast by Ferracci. Mark used to be at North Valley Honda/Kawasaki and did all their dyno work. Both are excellent techs and informative.

Not much tuning work to do on your bike, I would have them reset the TPS, balance the throttle botties, adjust fuel trim............standard stuff. It would be good to see what the HP difference is with the TPOs. I have debated about adding them and it would be good to see the results on that same dyno.

Out!

Went to the river run Friday night it was kind of dead. Wish there was a run that had more of a variety of bikes and vendors I road the bagger over there but since I bought this Hypermotard my other bikes just don't turn me on as much.
