Newbie

Well, after years of Triumphs, i decided to stop kicking tires and go for a Ducati. Test rode the 848 and wanted off of it after 5 minutes...too committed for my daily use tho occasional trackdays would make up for it I'm sure.

Rode a buddy's Hyper S and was instantly sold. I campaign a ktm 450smr on the track and it is a natural progression to this bike for the street.

First impressions are that it is the most fun i've had on a streetbike in LONG time! And i've only got 50 miles on the clocks so i'm not bouncing off the rev limiter but not babying it either. It feels smaller than my YZ450 somehow, definately lower and love the torque.

Look forward to adding performance parts/mods and making it my own. Let the games begin....

Yo endoz !!! WELCOME !!!

I ride with a small group of Triumph riders, and after they beated me up so many times on my KLR-650, I went and got the HM.
Their bikes are most older T`s, one of them a 750 which is as small as a CRF-150 almost, and as light, and looks like an old dirt bike. He is so freaking fast on the curbs that is plain scary.
They are fun fun fun to ride with because most are 40-60 y.o.`s but with a young heart like me, I`m the youngest one. They are mad because I got the Duc and not a T, but they are happy too because the KLR was too much out of place. The kept calling me The guy in La Cabra Loca ( crazy goat ).

Please make honor to the HM and ride it like it is, a big bike with a big engine for a big kid.

Mine 7k and I know is the most fun bike I ever had, and I had many and for over 40 years, riding since 3.

Matt..... So you got one............

It is a fun bike..... It took me a while but in the end the bike sucked me in.
I find that most times the R1 is left behind and the Hyper's front is in the air.

Enjoy....

see 'ya at the sm track.

Cheers

Should have known you'd be here! We'll have to hook up for a ride, i'll try and keep up, no wheelie contests tho....
