Why (the heck) is my clutch line sweating?!?!?!
Dood!!! What is this??? I've never owned a Ducati so please excuse the ignorance if this is normal...
I'm in So Cal, Orange County if that makes a difference (weather).
Help...Thanks!
PS; BTW; checked the fluid level and I'm good. And when I wipe the line I cannot get a good enough smell to see if it's brake fluid or not...

This is my 6th Ducati and 35th motorcycle and it has me stumped, never seen that before!
Only thing maybe condensation forming on the cool tube but that is all I can think off short of the tube being porous or being allergic to the fluid!!

The type of rubber used for the tubing is allowing the brake fluid to seep through it. Wrong type of rubber.

HRC use this stuff instead of a rear brake res. big fat clear bit of tube, the tube is designed to weep the water out of it but not the brake fluid. I would imagine this could be the same. taste the liquid, are you sure its clutch fluid and not water.

Brake fluid is hygroscopic, it won't release the water to weep out of anything - the line is just the wrong rubber (and that goes for the HRC stuff too if it's doing the same thing).
