Bridgestone BT016 deal sales

As discussed before, a lot of us love the grip and the price of the Bridgestones BT016, I have them on both my Hypermotard and my Husky 610 SM.
As I go through tires quickly (about 1500 or less on the rear), I quickly learned to have tires in reserve otherwise I pay more than I should...

Last year, Peter gave us the notice of the very first super deal at CycleGear for $200 a pair of BT-016 ! That was to promote that tire and make it popular. Prices are going up since.

Today, Motorcycle-Superstore can get you a pair of BT-016 for your hypermotard delieverd at your house for $244 (no tax and free shipping). I bought extra for both bikes:

Motorcycle-superstore tire sale

For thr record Iam not affiliated with anybody, but just want to share deals when I find some.

Have you ordered from them before or do you have the tires already? They took forever and a day to get me a slip on that was supposedly in stock.

American Motorcycle Tire has good prices but charges shipping,so it's a wash.Shipping took a while for my friends Dragon Supercorsa.I'm seriously comsidering the 016's but almost want to try Pilot Power 2CT(more expensive!)

I ordered from them before and it was ok.
As far as this set of tires is concerned, I don't need them right away anyway, but I'll keep you guys posted when they get shipped for the record (the order was placed today).

I ran the 2CT's on mine, great rubber but just evaporated in no time.

I felt for everything that I do and my riding ability I didn't think there was any advantage over a std PP.

I would like to try the 016's but fear they will disappear even quicker, we get stomped on for the cost of tyres here.

I would be all over the 016's, but I don't really like the "naked edges".For me I think it's just mental since I have read and heard from friends, very good things about the tire.Plus the price is right.

If you do track days the Stones don't last. They get overheated way too fast and the rubber starts disintegrating.
For the street they are great.

Have any of you tried both the BT and the Scorpion Sync? I ride street and highway all the time, I have't done a track day or plan to.

I have ordered gear from them several times and my PCIII. They seem to have great service and shipping was timely. Never have ordered tires from them, so I can't comment on that.

Out!
