Items Included with the purchase of a new Hypermotard
Since I purchased my 2008 Hyper 1100S as a demo, I'm curious as to what is supposed to be included with it when you buy it new. If someone can help answer some of my questions I would really appreciate it.
1) Am I supposed to have a spanner to adjust the eccentric to tighten the chain?
2) Is there a tool kit and is it supposed to be in the glove box in the tank cover.
3) If yes to 2 what is included in the kit?
4) What is required to view the Ducati Data Analyzer on a computer and is it supposed to be included?
5) So far all I have received is the magic card with the bike number on it and a pair of keys.
6) How about manuals? At least an owner's manual, right?
Anything else you can fill me in on will be a plus!
Many Thanks

1- Probably not included
2-it's under the right fairing and
3-very basic tools are included.
4-I think you need the Ducati computer or analizer for that.
5-yes
6- you should have a manual

1) The eccentric spanner is not included, but you don't really need it (search for chain adjustment in this forum)
2-3)There is a very basic toolkit - screwdriver, plug wrench, basically worthless
4) You need a PC to use the DDA and the DDA is not included
5) Keep the card in a safe place
6) You should have received the owners manual, the workshop manual is extra
Have fun!

I am in the same situation, and I am in need of the owner's manual for my bike. The bike also came with warrantee info, dealer booklet, HM accessories catalog, two keys, code card...

Mine came equiped with the ASOATO module.
I am not sure if the "S" comes with it. I have seen others here with the same module installed. Make sure your bike does not have it installed from factory.
Tell the dealer about it, make sure they don`t install it, I am not kidding, you will remember me and bow to me if you still get a HM with the module after I told you this. Tell the dealer about this and I will get $100 from them, you will save $$$ and will love me later. Please at least say Thanks !!!

I am so sorry,
I forgot to explain what ASOATO means;
Auto Shut Off At Take Off module, a Duc propietary technology.
And, be nice, I am doing the best I can to prevent others from getting what I got from Duc when I asked about the module ( under warranty ), no response, and the Duc dealer said: "I have never heard of that module", BUT, its all over the internent and this very Forum.

Cool dog. It turns out I accidently won a puppy from a local pound. Don't ask.Too many drinks at my kids' school charity auction. I was trying to bid the price up, but I was the last one left with the paddle up...
It is only fair, right? I get the bike, and the kids get the dog?
