ProTaper: Contour vs. EVO Henry/Reed
I now have both bars.
They are almost identical in bend and room for controls.
I hope my expenditure help clear all that doubt up now.

Hmmmmmm......
Well, that clears that up! But now, I can't figure out WHY some guys are having trouble getting the stock controls to fit... WTF???

Hey CTarna how are you going to drill the pilot holes. I just ordered a rizoma bar so I need some help in what to do. if I cant do it on my own I'll just cut the ends off my stocker. Thanx

Hmmm not to get off topic, but what is that rectangular thing on your bench.. Says "TDK" . It's next to a brush. Was it from an archeological dig?

I don't know why it doesn't fit either. Did you cut your grips/ throttle tube at all to get the setup to fit? Here's how it looks on my bike with no modifications:

hey mati-o,
The Rizoma bars are significantly shorter than the stockers- if you're going to mount the handguards you will have to do some work.

I've been looking and think the way to go is mini bend Pro Taper or other brand fat bars. They have a shorter center section like the OEM bars.
The point of this is to add strength, DO NOT drill holes for controls. Modify the controls.

Thanks, no I dont ever plan to put those handguards back on ever again.
