anyone using BST wheels?
any reports on them..i read the post a while back. I'm interested in the difference between the s forged wheel's weight and the carbon rims. I understand it's about 3 lbs but weight mainly off the rim makes the difference.
Cheers Karl

i have a set of bst's on my rc51 ( i know you don't want to hear about other manufacturers, mostlikely) one of my first mods after i got it. the weight savings was like 13lbs lighter from the stock wheels, i without question felt the difference. they are a well made product for sure, numbered, certificates on each wheel, and they look great. riding into parking lots & driveways is always as slow as possible, not down with chips or flat spots, so definately baby em.
my gsxr1000 has the forged aluminum & gsxr 750 has the magnesium, of which i do not see a diff between the those 2 bikes.
if you want looks, you will like the bst's, especially on a single sided swing arm.
so for what's it's worth that was my 2 cents

Listen up!!
For those who must know the Black Stone Tech rims are only 1 pound lighter per rim than the forged machined marchesini wheels on the S.If you have an S model, the 3,000 dollar set of rims for a 2 pound weight loss is not worth it. Now if you have a standard and want to add some carbon bling, go for it!, as the forged machined marchesini will set you back 2,700 bucks. If you ever held the blackstone back to back with the forged march wheels its really hard to tell the diff, Both are ungodly light!!

Mooner, nice looking bike you got there and the exhaust looks very nice as well.
I agree with the above, the S wheels are super light so you will only gain the " bling " effect, 2lbs is something but not much.
I sold my set of S wheels on Ebay and did get $ 1500 for it so the rest to upgrade to the BST wheels was not so painfull.
