Plug and Play??
I am about to install the stalk type Ducati Performance mirror kit with integral Led turn signals; it sure looks straight forward, but, then, so did installing the DP "race exhaust"...9 hours later...
Is this a simple R&R or is there a devil somewhere in the details?? Any wisdom you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

I have heard to many horror stories about DP installs. I'm keeping the stock front signals but Rizoma Circuit 851 mirrors are on the way.

I did the mirrors. It is a simple plug and play. Some tight spots to get to the connectors, but it didn't take too long. Also, not nearly as many left over parts as there were with the full Termis

I have (had) them on mine. Easy 1/2 hour install. Nothing too complex.

I have a set but i never use cause i mainly do track days, my instructions said to replace the c bracket from the master cilinders with the one that comes in the mirrors. I can see that you didn't do it, you just put them next to it, i think when i tried them, they didn't fit. Any comments on this.

I don't think my kit came with another bracket, but as you see, it didn't matter. I just made sure the wires were routed away from any points that might pinch.

Piece-of-cake
I got the kit home and discovered that the clamp halves, with the threaded bore for the mirrors was missing. I called my dealer who quickly found a couple of full bar clamps (as in mount *next* to the radial masters) and my son picked them up for me on his way home from work.
The only area that requires any attention is when replacing the right hand side. The electrical cable is routed rather convolutedly past the steering head. I unpluged it on the left hand side of the steering head and taped it to a piece of scrap 16 gauge wire that I had hanging around. After testing this rig for pull strength and satisfying myself that it would work I was able to pull the old cable out with a little gigging and jagging, back and forth, here a pull there a pull (god anyone who professes to be a fisherman/woman could do this in their sleep).
I then re-taped the new cable and with a repeat of the process (in reverse) got the new cable hooked up in about 50% of the time it took me to get the old one out.
FEAR NOT!
