Do you have chicken strips?
Hey folks. Just curious what your tires look like. I can push my SXV to the limit with no issue, but I've slid the HM on much slower turns at less of a lean, and still have strips. I'm not worried about the strips so much as I am about my technique. Is it just the way these bikes are built? I suspect I need to have my susp dialed in, but I'm just wondering if most of you folks have strips too, or if I just don't know how to ride this thing.

None on the rear and 5 mm on the front, no sliding etc and running Scorpion Sync tractor tyres.

Hmm, I've got Syncs on my SXV, and I'm still on the stockers on the Duc. But I've always heard good things about the Corsas though. I suspect it's not the tires.

If your suspension aint set up correctly you will battle with it until the day you sell it, I would get it sorted .... firstly set up your static sag to your weight then tune the damping to your style and riding conditions.

Sounds reasonable. Any chance you know a good link to setting up these bikes? Or should I just pay somebody?

Pirelli Corsa 3's... no strips in rear... slight strips in front. Run 31/30 tire pressures... which COULD account for some of that... rest is lean angle and getting on the gas sooner...

As a guide for a road bike 40 mm front and 30 mm rear static sag with rider.
For the Tardis I run 50 mm front and 40 mm rear, general rule is static sag should be approx 1/3 of travel so mine is under that bench mark.
I also prefer to run my damping slightly softer as I don't mind the bike moving around a bit as this gives you feel.
Start with the 50/40 setting then adjust your damping, start with compression damping right out (no damping) and adjust your rebound to suit, then adjust your compression damping to take out any wallow.
