Bought this on ebay
Got this 2008 "S" model for $10,300 it had 1,400 miles on it with 6 months left on the warranty. I went to Ducati and bought the Ever Red extended warranty. This is my first Ducati and I gotta say WOW this bike is sick. The first day on it I attempted the famous 2nd gear wheelie. The wheel came up quicker than I expected. I stepped on the bailout lever and did quite a nut slapper on the tank. Done a few more wheelies since but know I now the the deal and land alot softer. This is a great forum I learned alot about this bike here and it helped me a great deal in my decision to buy this bike so thanks. Here are a few pics. http://www.ducati.ms/forums/attachme...1&d=1239766321

congrats on the new hyper. Good price, too.
Just curious....what does the dealer want for the comprehensive warranty? I do my own maintenance, but need to go in to get my spare key programmed and to get the chain adjusted, so maybe I will do the warranty thing....but the value/risk seldom work out on those things.

First off Thank you all for the warm welcome. To answer your question I paid $1,000 plus tax for the warranty. It was worth it to me for my piece of mind. Because I bought a used bike.
