Stalling + Tank

The Hyper is in for service It either needs the TPS reset or new exhaust valve guides. I figured while they're in there I'd get the 1st major service done and install the 6.4 gallon tank

I should be ready for next years Daytona 200!

Riding to Ojai and back on a single tank would be cool

Will put the purchase on my airline credit card to get even more mileage out of it!

You are going to love the new tank.
I just had to fill up since the initial fueling of the tank after install.
The fuel light came on at 194 miles, I rode 11 more to the gas station for a total of 205 miles, I then put in 5.9 gal. So about 1/2 to 3/4 of a gallon left once the light comes on.
It sure is nice to be able to ride more than 80 to 90 miles before you have to start looking for a gas station.
This tank is going to make the trip to Laguna much nicer.

So, do you notice the additional weight while turning, braking or accelerating?

I really don't notice it much if at all. I will be the first to say that, I am not good enough to ride to the bikes full potential.

Plus there is nothing that says that you have to fill it all the way up, but it is nice to have that option.

They just did that to mine and it just started stalling again yesterday.

Replaced the valve guides and the stalling came back?
