Lightweight flywheel

Just installed a lightweight flywheel in the HYM, great mod. Faster reving, even seems easier in the gearbox. I know it's easier to shift. I think it's a worth while mod.

What lightweight flywheel did you use? I was looking at getting a Nichols, had good luck with one theirs on my 750ss.

Hey Vduc, I used the cut down one from the DucShop. I personaly thought that the Nichols one was to light. I don't know that for a fact just a gut feeling. I like some flywheel effect.

I had Ducshop cut mine down to 2.25lbs. Still noticeable but nothing crazy.

Me likes.

Thanks I'll need to look into the the DucShop one. Nichols are light, somewhere between 9 to 12 ounces. My 750ss was only a race/track bike, it always idled and ran fine with the Nichols. My thought was there is still somuch rotating mass with the crankshaft and other bits hanging out the flywheel could be super light.
