Remus Exhaust
I just bought a 2008 and have looked at all different exhaust and have read a number of threads on this site. I like the Remus set up. I have one question can I put the full system on with the stock ECU or do I need the PC111 also. any help would be great.
Thanks
P.S.
Anybody looking for a S model, Pat Clark in Vegas has some and let me have one for $11,500.

Lots of threads on this if you do a little review you will get all the info you need and then some. The PCIII won't do you any good with the stock ECU. You will need a DP ECU if you run a full system and open the air box and you can find them occasionally for sale for around $300-350. A more recent option that Desmoworks is offering is a reprogramming of the stock ECU for $400+. The FatDuc O2 manipulator is an option too, but won't work as well for more extreme intake and exhaust mods, but it is less than $100 I think.
That Remus system looks good. I look forward to seeing and hearing the results.
Out!

Remus Exhaust
I e-mailed Remus and Motosports and they both told me I can use the stock ECU. I just got my new Remus Exhaust delivered and plan to install them Friday. I got a big kick out of the directions they are on a small paper about 5 X 6 in three languages it basically tells you to take off stock exhaust and install new exhaust. Looking forward to see how they sound.

Remus exhaust is on
I installed the Remus exhaust this weekend and also got rid of the charcol canister. The Bike sounds great and not real loud I am pleased. With stock ECU it runs well does not seem to have any flat or bad spots. I am pleased with the fit and finish and even with the lack of instructions there was no problems with the install. I am Stoked: yeah:

Get the FatDuc and open up your airbox lid. There is just not enough fuel delivered with the stock ecu to get all of the available performance out of your new system. I am betting that you are getting some crackling when you chop your throttle on a deceleration. I like the looks of the Remus, how much was it?
I guess Pat Clark can sell an S at that price due to the $40 Pat Clark Ducati tee shirts. They do have some really cool bikes there.

No crackling on decel. but I was planning on trying out that fatduc and opening up my airbox. The Remus system was $1535.00 so far I am pleased.

Nice! Pipes look clean and love the shape of the cans.
How's the sound?

Sound is good for me not real loud but has good mellow tone. I have played with the Fatduc at the richest setting and at the leanest setting and did not feel a big difference. On the richest setting while it was idling in the garage the check engine light came on and gave me a O2 sensor fault.
