HYPER HOME! (again)...thanks BroMike666!
Extra special thanks to BroMike666 for truly being there and putting up with my drama for almost a week now. Thanks to Da_Bull for being a pal as well. Another special thanks to the kind and wonderful people at Pro Italia for their understanding through all of this.
Short story? Almost bought PI's hot looking competition Monster but then decided that a Hyper was the better fit. Finally sat down to purchase the Hyper, I'm moments away from signing over the title to my GT as a trade in and decide to call the wife. She knocks some sense into my head and says "find a used one" to keep it short. I walk out of the dealership with my tail between my legs. The next day, and out of the blue, the gent who i swapped my Hyper for his 1098 emails me to catch up, we had kept touch with one another for the last year and a half. At the end of the day he decided to sell me my old Hyper as he had just purchased an R6 and didn't need the HM any longer (he owns 2 other motos as well). Then it turned into one of those "i'll sell it to you, i don't want to sell it..." fiascos but the seller made good on his part of the bargain (he is an absolute stand up individual, i hope to continue our relationship) and invited me down to San Diego to pick it up in the early morning hours. The moto was just as immaculate as when i gave it to him (all of my mods included) and the only change that i made THIS go around was in new carbon heel guards, carbon tank cover and a new clutch plate/cover routine. It has brand new tires and only 3k miles on the clock. I spent the remainder of the day detailing it and changing the oil after the ride home.
Will you all allow me back into your gang of fun?
Pics as required by law
Enjoy!
where am i going to put it? GT FOR SALE

Congratulations. It is like getting an old girlfriend back !
And I also see that I am not the only one with a DP seat that leaves enough of a gap by the tank to expose hardware...I thought I did something wrong...
I am trying to get used to the harder than stock seat. How many miles does it take?

Congratulations on your reacquisition, bud.
I hope you didn't have to pay the "babysitter" too much.
