Bay Area Hollister Ride sat Apr.4 - Ducati.ms

Sunday is going to be wet i hear. What about Saturday, any interest in a Hollister ride guys?
Looking at the map, this is a 220 mile round trip with 200 miles of straightaways.

wtf are you talking about chris? once you get south of hollister on 25, the only straightaway is through the vineyards ... and that's the roller coaster section.

of course, if your sat ride is only down TO hollister, then your correct ... boring straight sections of freeway slab.

if your going to do 25 south, i might be able to get time on sat for that ride.

I've been down 25 to 198 and back a couple of times and while there are some twisty bits, its pretty straight. I thought it was a nice ride but kind of boring.

Last time I was down there on a bike I was detained for a couple of hours by the CHP, County Sheriff, and the Game Warden at a roadblock just outside of Hollister. Now that wasn't boring. I thought I was going to be stripped searched and sent to jail. Long story short, they let me go when the guy they were looking for cruised by. Haven't been down there since.

Yes dookieman, i got the memo b4 chuck deleted it as i had asked him to back when i switched it to saturday now its back to sunday. why the heck can't you edit a day old post? lame
It's no problem neil, I rallied a few friends together since the forum was not getting much action. But you will be missed and I still owe you something nice for the flywheel.
