Sidi Vortice Boots
Sidi Vortice-pain in the
Managed a few miles this afternoon, while out popped into a bike shop, tried some of the new sidi vortice boots, what a pain in the @@se to get on, with all those belts and loops, seriously, I gave up half way through could not be bothered, probably a very good track boot but for the street will stick with my Courier boots, I liked the more simpler corsa boot though

I have both the Sidi Vertigo Corsa's and the Sidi Vortice. I have to agree with you. For just riding to work, or the store etc. I wear my Corsa's. But if I am going for a ride I will put on the Vortice. They do take forever to put on but they are great boots.

I tried one on the other day. It took me LITERALLY 10 minutes to figure out the damned thing and then get it on.
Once it was on it was AMAZING ... but, really, even with practice it'll take 5-8 minutes a boot. That's 10-20 minutes that I won't be riding.

I've had mine for over a month now, and after some practice, in 2 minutes you'll be ready to ride. Two minutes might seem like a long time for putting on boots, but if you want the ultimate in protection, that's not that long.
