new low bar option for us hyper types (PIC FIXED)

Scroll down to my third post for the photo

I got these zero rise bars from a very bizzare source...the snowmobile industry. None are to be found from any vendor in their motorcycle catalogs. These have a 15 degree sweep/pullback. This manufacturer (RSI RACING) also makes them with zero sweep. Any bike shop can get these from Parts Unlimited. Western Power Sports also has a couple of options. One has 20 degrees of sweep.

The bars in the photo are the RSI's. I admit that they appear to have a rise to them but are totally flat. I think the optical illusion is due to my camera interpretation of the abrupt taper from the chubby mount area to the 7/8ths section.

What's the benefit of bars with no rise?

Personal preference as with any ergonomic type mod. Some things just fit certain people better.

Which photo? Your avatar? Do you have a larger image available for those of us who left our magnifying glass at home today?

I uploaded the image to the members gallery. Hopefully you can now see the photo.

I have Woodraft rearsets that yeild a significant change in ground clearance. They also change the "evil triangle": ass, hands and feet. I wanted a bit more distance between me and the bars to make knee down less upsetting to the chassis. These bars may not be perfect for my frame, but they are better (for me) than the OE bars. I need my butt more aft and will be hacking the seat next. I think that will get me there.

Hi mount, and ride her. I see from your photo you finally got some balls, but please get rid of those poxy yellow knobs on the mirror stalks. Surely a counter sunk s/s cap srew would look better.

Ever check out photos of my seat, rider portion flat with a raised hump for pillion butt () her end is very small. "NO FAT CHICKS". Front half herring bone weave pattern in black, back half in red with Italian flag down the sides.

Send me a PM of your normal e-mail address and I'll send you photos, too much bullshit to upload here.
