Bar Snake Model LV-4 - Ducati.ms

Anybody try Bar Snake Model LV-4 with stock mirrors and hand guards? I'm wondering if you put the everything together before the LV-4 sets up can you take things apart again? Or is the solid bar snake a better bet?

I don't have any personal experience with the Bar Snake, but several guys on the FZ1 forum use it and like it. Others, including me, added #8 lead shot used for reloading shotgun shells. It worked well for me and cured a lot of the buzziness in the bars. However, I am not sure that it will be the same on a twin.

Never used a bar snake, in my Multi I usd bb gun shot (copper plated steel) since it's all I could get unles I wanted to buy a 20 lb bag of lead shot. It damped some of the vibes so I consider it a success. I pushed a cork into bar until it reached the bend, mixed the shot with epoxy then filled the bar leaving enough room for the bar-ends.
