valve shim kit

I have an idea that I'd like to explore. I plan on doing my 7500 mile service myself with the addition of a friend. The valve shims are much more expensive than I can rationalize. So, what I am offering is if a few members want to split the cost of the shim kit and ship it back and forth when service is required. This is the shim kit that I was considering http://www.emsduc.com/products.html. If anyone is interested, please respond either here or freezer16801@yahoo.com

This could possibly also work with some other tools required for the service. I am open to ideas.

Not all dealers are bloodsuckers. I found two that said they will sell me individual shims as needed. I bought the closer measuring tool from Desmo Times and should hit the 7500 mile service interval late spring.

I bought the measuring tool from EMS, used it to find out what I needed and then got the shims I needed from EMS. Very good stuff and very good price.
