Hypermotard - Scorpio Alarm Wiring

Gents, I'm interested in a SR-i900 Scorpio alarm (the hands free one) but through my research on here and from talking to the Scorpio Sales staff today, there is no plug-and-play adapter kit available because of how the turn signals are wired. They told me that they tried and failed to build an alarm adapter, but assured me that the supplied universal kit would work. From other posts here I have seen a picture of how one was fitted under the seat but no mention was made of how it was "spliced in" or wired up. There is nothing posted in the Hall of Wisdom on this forum.

For those of you who have installed one, how did you wire it up to the main wiring harness? Also, did anyone try to install one in a place other than under the seat (such under the left side tank side cover)?

Thanks in advance

plug it into the power for the rear light (it has an earth not via the dash) forget about the indicators as they have no earth. mine works fine, never run the battery down and i don't really miss the fact it doesn't flash the lights. the universal kit is fine unless they have finally made one.(they said they were going to)

Hi Gord,

Did you get to install the alarm system successfully? If you did, what is your opinion about the ease of install and what is your opinion about the performance of the alarm system itself? Greatly appreciate your inputs.

Best Regards,
-HD
