Diagnostic hook up
Does anybody know where is the jack for the diagnostic tool? not the data acquisition but the diagnostic.

Check your service manual.
When I opened mine (ref- my signature), it referred me to this picture:
It states, "Diagnosis Connector" item 6, which is under the right tank fairing, above the ECU.

I re-routed my #6 connector for the VDST so that it pops out along
the frame leading to the steering head, so you don't have to remove the
fairing to plug into it. You will need a wire tie or two to keep it there.
Makes it convenient to just plug in the diagnostic tool and go. Especially
nice when you just want to do something trivial like clear the service
reminder (wrench icon) on the Hyper display. It does help to remove
the black plastic inner panel (the one with the half-turn fasteners) when
you are accessing the re-routed diag. connector... gives a little more
"knuckle room".

excellent idea ... so simple, yet had not thought of doing this. am going to re-route the diagnostic plug on my hypertard this evening.

+1, first thing I did after discovering I had to remove the fairing.

Where can we buy the Ducati diagnostic tool? I saw it in FBF for 200usd. There are 2 models depending of the ECU ref. Any other places?
