Have you had passengers on your bike with punting it along and have you had any touchdowns?
When I ride with my wife we tend not to hold anyone up at all so I just wondered if you had any scraping while using the bike in anger.
Lemme know, cheers man.

Wow. Never heard of that...
To tell you the truth I have never carried a passenger on my Hyper. I've got a couple of other bikes that are much better for that, so I have never even thought about using the Hyper for two-up duty.
I think I ride mine pretty briskly... I go through rear Corsa III's in 1,500 miles, and I have ridden it on some of the twistiest roads in the state of Texas - up in the Texas Hill Country and out in Big Bend - and I have never touched any part of my Quat-D pipe down. Some of the roads out in Big Bend, like the infamous "River Road" FM-170. Last October it was in a poor state due to flooding that had ravaged the surface, and it was much more like a semi-paved moto-cross track than anything else, with some monumental chuck holes, broken pavement, etc. Even on that road, often severely bottoming the suspension, the pipe never touched down.
Now that said, I run the rear shock up pretty stiff and the rear ride height up fairly high, too, so maybe that has something to do with it...
And I have ridden with numerous buddies who have been behind me and none have ever mentioned the pipe getting close to touching down.
One thing, my Quat-D doesn't use the stock cat. It is a complete exhaust system, header pipes and all.
Now you've got me wondering...
Hope this helps!
