Rock Store Joy Ride - Sunday, March 1st
Well I have gotten my wife to say YES to getting back on the Hyper with me. This will be her first time back since my crash last August. We're going to do a breakfast ride to the Rock Store and it would be great if we could get some folks together to cellebrate this occasion. Alex said he and his wife may join us on their Victory's since his Hyper is torn apart for the BIG BORE kit.
Not sure where we'll meet yet but probably at the corner of Decker and Portrero around 9:00am. Then Decker to Muholland to the Rock Store. Maybe a little cruise after that somewhere but not too far.
We will be riding at a leisurely pace (I promised my wife!!) so if you want the rush of speed, we'll meet you there.
Hope to see some friends!!!

Dammit; I'll probably be heading to Big Bear that AM or Saturday. I still haven't met anyone here except for Marco. I'll be thinking about you guys though.
Hopefully next time. Have a fun and safe ride!

Hell yeah!
My daughter is out with her friends for the weekend so my wife and I are looking at each other saying "what do you want to do?"
Let's ride!
This way, the ladies can see how mature we really are.

Chances are slim that you'll be seeing me I'm taking my friend Sean (bought my Husky) up ACH on his first trip on twisty mountain roads. We're turning on Angeles Forest Highway and headed out towards the desert since there's ice past 9 mile. I'd bring him along but he's a returning (after 6 years away) rider, never ever ridden mountain roads and I'm thinking Decker is not the road for first timers Besides, I think all the wheelies would give him a heart attack
If things change I'll head that way and be there before departure time.

This is a wheelie free ride!!! Also, we'll be traveling at an easy pace. I don't want to scare my wife on her first time back. I'll save it for the next ride
The north side of Decker is pretty tame and your friend should be fine. Come on over!!!!!!!

LOL, I proposed it and got "are you fucking crazy, I freak out riding around Silver Lake." I've already lost "Shawn" to the shattered leg, I don't want to lose another "Sean" to an accident.
Maybe next time.

Very tempting. I'm kinda committed to something else at the moment, but I feel like I should be there to support you and your wife through this trying time ... and do wheelies!!!
I'll try and weasel out of my other plans but, if I can't, I hope you guys have fun.
