Hyper Upgrade and Blingification Stage One Complete

Oh man, are these bikes fun to upgrade (much to the consternation of my wallet). Over the past week or so I've been adding some bling and performance upgrades.

When I bought the bike it already had the slipper clutch, the racing seat, a bunch of carbon fiber, Termi slip-ons, and steering damper.

Since then I've added:
  • Termignoni manifold kit to convert to full 2-1-2 system
  • Nichols Lightweight Flywheel
  • Style & Performance Rearsets
  • Speedymoto Flow Clutch Cover
  • Speedymoto Leggero Front Sprocket Cover
  • Speedymoto Leggero Timing Belt Covers
  • Pazzo Shorty Levers
  • TPO Beast R Intake
  • Rizoma Cable Cover

The new intake system and exhaust manifold kit really opened things up. It sounded great before, but now sounds fuller and deeper, and seems to pull stronger too.

At some point I'll do the race cams, high-comp pistons, and PCIII, but for now I'm pretty darned happy with it. What a blast this baby is to ride, too. I also want to powder coat the subframe black, which I think would look really good with all the black accessories I have on there.

Thanks to Anthony at Commoto.com and the good folks at MotoCorsa in Portland for all the help.

Some photos for your enjoyment:

Nice job. I wish I didn't have to park my bike on the streets of NYC throughout the day. I would think about these changes....

Rear Sets?

Nice!!!!

How's the action on those rearsets?

Are they smooth, clunky, quick, adjustable?

Where'd you get them?

Also, how do you like the DP Steering Damper?

Action on the rearsets is great - very smooth, good shifting action (I currently have it set up in a GP shift pattern). Adjustability is really good, with numerous mounting positions, along with eccentric adjustability on the pegs and levers. Very impressive. They were a pain in the butt to install, but I think that's more of a Hyper issue than an S&P issue. I bought them from commoto.com.

The steering damper seems to be great so far, but I haven't really pushed the bike yet (still pretty cold here).
