Got time to waste ?

Had about 5 hours to so i got the metal polish + 2000 wet and dry
on the standard parts of the exhaust but not the slip on's termi's

Geez it looks unreal

Just like black chrome
don't know how long it will last but its so sweet polished

Header pipe to the cat "avoided" then up to the collector just before the slip on's

Will image it tomorrow on photo bucket
well worth the 5 hours of sore hands

I did the same to my 749r, 2000 wet & dry & metal polish and got a sore wrist.

Lot of hard work for good results, thought must be a quicker way....

Went to my local hardware store bought a bench grinder swapped the disc for a polishing pad and never looked back.

Must get the camera of the kids and get some photo's online.

Polished aluminum beats chrome any day in my book. The key to good looking aluminum is the buffer.

aluminum has the highest reflectance of any polished metal.....94% i believe. That is why they use it in telescope mirrors.

"your book" is actually fact.
