Hello all
Hey everyone,
I am a KLR650 owner and have wanted a Hyper ever since I first saw them. I am in process of getting mine. I love to tinker and modify things on my bike and my cars. Been lurking for a while, and I really have been entertaining the thought of doing an oil thermostat install as a first thing. Also, is carbon fiber the only material you can get aftermarket body panels in? I mean something like the rear tire hugger. I've been looking around and that's all I see. Here's my KLR. I'm currently in process of converting to fuel injection with the Microsquirt system and a SV650 fuel pump.

Welcome!
Carbon is the only material I've seen for body panels so far. Ducati owners seem to like that stuff.
Let us know how the thermostat install goes. I'd be interested to see how it works.

Those are KX500 forks. Much improvement over stock. Replaced my doohickey at about 7,000 miles, and the spring was broke. That thing is no joke. A few people have had it get lodged in the cam chain and lock up the motor while riding. Not always the same failure mode, but not something to take a chance with imho. It's nice to see some dual sport background here. To be honest the KLR is my first bike and the Duc is going to be interesting and fun for sure. Hopefully the 2 get along well enough. Borracho - it's just cleaan because that's when I installed the forks. It doesn't see to get too dirty off road either, cause I'm usually busy playing in the puddles. Thanks everyone and see you out there.

Finally got my Duc on Thursday, but have too busy riding to get any pics. Here are the 2 together. No fighting between them yet.

That's funny... it looks like the KLR is frowning at the Ducati. Noticed you
took the knobbies off the KLR before the group photo. I think I'd put 'em back on
and let the HM pull the Supermotard street duties while the Kawi does it's dual
sportin' best....
Anyway, looks like a fun combination!
