And is there more gain from changing the ECU than in changing just the
muffler cans themselves? I'm betting in terms of what you feel, the ECU
change is more significant. Though I do like the look of the dual underseat
cans on this bike (whether stock or Termi).
I wonder if re-flashing the stock ECU to DP ECU code and then changing
out the collectors (eliminating both the Cat and exhaust valve) would be
about equivalent to a full dual Termi system?
My Hyper ran noticeably better (and smoother) throughout the RPM range
with just a set of Zard collectors and an O2 sensor manipulator. Adding the
PC III a day later improved performance even more. Still running the stock
mufflers, though I have a modified set for when I want more noise.
