Zard Exhaust
Anyone have a GREAT deal on the Zard full systems (either Top Gun or Penta)?
I have a bonus check (small, but hopefully enough to get the kit) I need to spend before my wife finds out!

In the past, Desmoworks offered the best price I was in for around $1200. Call Anthony and see if he will work you a deal. You will need the DP ECU too, to get the fueling right about $300. If you want to go the rest of the way, you will need the PCIII for around $275 and some dyno tuning to get it dialed in for another $225.
You don't really need the PCIII, but it did really make is run smoother and added a little power.
Out!

Top gun at $1262 right now - Penta $1389. They both kick some serious ass!

AXE is 100% correct on the set-up. I did the ZARD Top Guns last year and they Rock!!!
The total set-up cost way more than I had planed, but well worth it!

With the full system the mid-pipe has no provision for the exhaust valve, but the kit doesn't include anything to trick it either. It is quite easy to trick the exhaust valve so the ECU doesn't throw a code, but it isn't really the proper way to do it.
To do it correctly we are reflashing ECUs with a proper fuel map and we are disabling the exhaust valve and O2 sensor. At this point there is nothing else to do unless you have a totally custom setup in which case you will want to add a power commander or the like to continue with a custom mapping or if you are close enough we can custom map and reflash the ECU for your setup.
Another option is the Nemesis ECU which is an amazing product, but not for everyone due to cost - it can do anything you can dream of essentially.

I have posted some pics of my TG setup if you do a search you will find them. You can also see them in some pictures I posted of my powdercoating work.
I am half tempted to order a set of Pentas now, just to see which one I like the best. I would sell whichever I liked least. I think the thing about the Pentas, is they are a completely different look.
The TGs look really good overall. I wish the carbon fiber had a tighter weave and a bit smoother finish to match the finish of the DP and Shift-Tech, and Carbon World weaves, but it is pretty good. The header is 5 mm larger and looks great, but you need to remove the heat shield and mounting bolts to get it to look just right.
The system without the dB killers puts out some bark and it is a nice sound. However, for everyday riding it could be more sound than you like. I wear custom molded earplugs, so it doesn't bother me and everyone around me seems to like it...........................or at least notice it.
Can't go wrong for the price.
Out!
