Fuel light reset?

Hey guys,
I just bought a 08 Hypermotard and when it got low on fuel, the fuel light started to blink. So I filled it up and it still blinks.

I did a search here and read the manual. From what I read it looks like it is supposed to go off after refueling. Is this right?

thanks

sounds like you blew the fuse. check the 3rd fuse from the left. should be a 15 amp. the fuse box is behind the right side fairing next to the ECU

You nailed it man, Thanks.
You also helped me fix my turn signal problem. (that I didn't mention) As soon as I put the new fuse in, the fuel light stopped blinking.
Then I tried the left turn sig, (it worked) then the right, and it blew the same fuse again.
That should be pretty easy to track down.

Gotta love the growing pains of a new bike.

Thanks again man.

lambeg, welcome to the forum. i think i speak for most of us here when i say this forum is my alternative to having to go to the dealer for issues big or small and i don't think the first post after someone asks for help should be a referral to the dealer. just my 2 cents
