HM Color question

Did the 08 HM 1100s ever come in black with a red frame from the factory?

Nope. You have to have a dealer who was willing to switch bodywork or find someone else who wants to swap.

I bought mine as a red with black frame but the original bodywork was black.

I just posted a pic in the sticky pictures thread. Got a lot of the silver bits powder coated black, really changes the look, everything blends a lot better, sleeker even. Somewhere on here is a pic of it stock with just the main frame being black.

Is this tread still active? I have a black frame - would want to trade for a red. I would probably want some help with the install though...

You may find it easier to have "your" frame powder coated to any color you want, that way your VIN number & paperwork stays straight. Aloha Alex

I am willing to trade my red plastics for black plastics. Mine are in excellent condition. Bike always has been garage kept.
