Question HM Pegs

Hey all..new here. Just put $$ down on a 08 HM-S with all the fixins...my biggest problem is the pegs. I race supermoto and when i first started I never thought i would scrape peg on my bike but damn if theyre almost worn through..

So my question is.. does anyone know of anybody that makes Alum or Ti folding pegs with more grip and teeth then the stockers? I refuse to put fixed rearsets on cause i feel like itll just guarantee a crash and possible death sentence for me or my bike or both. Thanks for your help.. As soon as I have her ill post pics.

you do know that you can take off the rubber pads? I did a track day in the advanced group and never scraped the stockers. It is all about body position. I am sure that there is faster guys, but I didn't have ground clearance issues with the stockers.

Are you saying you actually race supermoto on the Hyper? Or just that you tend to ride your Hyper using your supermoto style of riding?

The Hyper doesn't have anywhere near the ground clearance of a real Supermoto, so you have to adopt a sportbike riding style to keep the hard parts off the ground...

^^^ good point scott. I do use roadrace style of riding. I was neglected and wasn't allowed to have a dirtbike as a kid. That explaines why my arse puckers when I slide and why I feel like out of place sitting straight up and down.
