Lucky ass Hyper people

I rode today with a friend from this forum. His name is Jeff. He goes by Hyper1 on this site. He has a Hyper.
I asked him could we trade bikes for this one stretch of road that he knew, but I didn't. I was dying to ride his bike.

By the way, I ride an 05 800ss.

Shut up.

So I tell him I wont dog his bike. We switch and take off. I started giggling in my helmet to myself. That thing was so freakin light, you could just touch the bars and it would go where you wanted it to. Lots of torque with just little throttle. I flinked around for a bit just feeling the weight, sitting position and power range. Then I took the eff off.

GAH DAWG!......That thing was cool as you know what!

When Jeff caught up to me I was standing in a store parking lot waiting for him. I also apologized for dogging his bike.

Ya'll people have got some cool bikes. I'm hooked.

The moral of the story folks, don't swap bikes unless they got a 1098 like I did 2 weeks ago.

Just getting into the power in 4th at 200k, I backed off so my poor little underpowered dirt bike wouldn't get flogged too hard. 15 minutes was enough, I wanted my baby back.

Hey Tin-nut, how's ya flatulence holdin' up?

Good Stuff

Its fun to pass the pipe if you've got good stuff, especially to a good smoker who you know can handle the high.

You're preaching to the choir man.

I've thought for a while that one of the better all around bikes to own would be one of the new Triumph Tigers. Had a chance to ride one for a while recently and it was fast, very smooth and capable of pretty much anything. After about a half hour, I couldn't wait to get back on my Hyper.

The Triumph is nice and that triple is potent, torquey and smooth. It's also very wide, especially the tank and noticeably heavier than the Hyper. For me, the Hyper is the perfect fun bike. I'll always be tempted to try others, but I can see myself coming back to the Hyper for a long, long time.

Hey metalhead, with all that money you're saving by not smoking, you'll be able to afford one in no time!By the way, how's that going?Haven't checked in on the chit chat in a while.
Come to think of it, you might want to hold off.Owning a Hyper is like sex.You always want a smoke when you're done riding her.
