Alright "Dallara" gave me an idea, how about posting your injuries relating to motorcycles? and only motorcycles, here's mine in 45yrs riding/racing
1. Broken Lft foot with torn ligaments
2. Broken Rt ankle with torn ligaments
3. Broken Rt Tib & Fib, leg is now shorter by 3/8in (wear lift)
4. Broken both knees, repaired with screws, wires, plates, rehab, etc.etc.
5. Broken back, my L-1 & L-2 now look like wedges, body brace for 8 months
6. Broken both wrists, both healed good
7. Cuts, stitches, rashes, bruises, sprains, too many to remember (don't want to)
So whats your "pain" history? Aloha Alex

I've been very lucky, I've been racing offroad for 20 years and am 31. I've had cuts bruises and sprains......the only thing I broke up until this last summer was my left foot, and that was in '99.
It all caught up to me this last summer, I made a stupid rookie mistake at the Pikes Peak Hillclimb in July and misjudged a corner....
This was the result.....

As the video said:
1. Broken Right Collar Bone
2. Cracked left Collarbone
3. Cracked right Scapula
4. 4 broken ribs....the top 2 on either side.
5. Partcially Punctured Right Lung.
6. Bleeding on my brain
It got me a night in the Hospital and a Helicopter ride too.

I've been riding on the street since I was 18 years old and have what I would call an actual 3 street crashes were there was enough bodily damage sustained and damage to the bike to call it a crash. I have crashed on the race track once and more recently training and goofin around on closed courses. A couple minor get-off's that don't really quailfy as a true crash since I don't consider a minor bump or bruise significant and the bike was rideable without repair. Not too mention the crash was a direct result of pushing to the max or trying something new.
My first two street crashes left me with some good road rash and the first one with a knee the size of a canteloupe. Good thing I was young and you heal faster since I didn't have medical insurance. The crash on the track left me pretty sore with some nice bruises on my hip the next day but I was able to finish the day racing.
My worst (or best) crash was in the fall of 2005 when I went down in a highside style collision at 50 mph on a rush hour packed freeway. I slid and tumbled for 150 feet before coming to a stop in the shoulder. Luckily I didn't get run over. The list is as follows:
Broke the end of my collar bone completely off.
Seperated my a/c joint were the worst of it. These two little details resulted in two operations and six months rehab with some hardware still left in the left shoulder.
Also sustained a dislocated right ring finger, sprained left elbow road rash and scars on both forearms and hands along with some scuffing on my back.
It was a good day however because the good Lord let me walk away from it and I can type about it today. My wife who cut up my food since I couldn't use my left arm for a month might not think so.
The shiat we motorcyclists will go through to ride. Most people think we are nuts..........most likely a correct assesment............

Riding 34 years, owned about 40 bikes, lost my license 7 times and lost count of the crashes, I can recall about 26 but probably had a head knock or two along the way. I don't count off-road or Postal services unless I hit a moving car. (Yes, I hit a parked car once)
Walked away from them all until 2002, car in a U-turn = 1 broken rib.
Friday the 13th (Aug 2004), practice for race meet. Brand new paint job from new sponsor + brain fade, high-side in the sand trap. Hit concrete wall on the full = dislocated and broken left collar bone, 8 ribs broken in 12 places, collapsed left lung, enlarged heart and aorta from impact. 2 days intensive care in 5 day stay, no insurance coz we got free medical stuff here.
Now metalhead will appreciate this. I got lots of free drugs from the hospital, but all them head knocks means I duno' 'member dem sayin' pain killers bung y'up. 10 days later without a crap it all came to a head so to speak. Ladies I sympathise with you because I have first hand experience with child birth, but you try pushin a baby out with 8 busted ribs, I was in labour for 2 hours, ............................. sorry I didn't hang around for the weigh-in or the naming. I needed more drugs, and I had to phone a plumber.

Dirt bike riding.......
Broken nose (before full face helmets!)
Broken ribs
Torn legaments in my knees
Blood blister on my right nut!! (caught between the tank and a rock)
Cactus prick through my pinky knuckle
Street riding
Broken collar bone
Fractured scapula
Broken hand
Recently separated shoulder and hematoma on hip (Hyper #1)
and of course....... a bruised ego.
All is healed except for my right shoulder, it hurts just thinking about trying to keep up with Alex

Breaks
Greetings all,
Broken left fib (had to kick start my XR and ride 6 miles out of the woods), left ring finger (KX 250 falling off the ramp as I was pushing for a friend while loading into a pick up left ring finger claught in chain and sprocket while going for the swing arm grab), Right clavicle, Left thumb, left ankle.
None of the breaks come close to my road rash incident, which occurred in 1980
Riding a GS750, typical squid, T shirt, shorts, sneakers, no helmet. Went down due to sand in a corner, pretty slow, maybe 25 MPH (sweepers had not cleaned up the winter salt sand mix yet) and started sliding.... tried to slide it like my CR250, bike hooked on something and I high sided and landed on my stomach....road rash from my upper thighs to my lower abdomen, palms as well. Mr. johnson was caught between the right thigh and the road........have scarring that always draws a comment from the ladies. The nurse in the ER saw the damage initially and winced in a manner that I still remember. Pulled sand pebbles out of scabs for weeks...pissing hurt like hell for a good two months.
Now I am an ATGATT guy.
