Very easy!!
Take big hose off and reroute with other hoses(ziptie) this is the overflow line from the tank.
Plug small hose with a machine bolt with silicone and hoseclamp.
Unbolt the hideous contraption.
Your done.
Other people will have other opinions but it is really simple...I procrastinated and worried about it for awhile till I finally did it and was amazed by how easy it was.

i used 1/8" vacuum caps (auto supply store) to seal off the nipples at each cylinder. i then used 1/4" fuel hose (auto supply store) and connected it to the original fuel drain hose (that goes into the cannister) so to lengthen it to the bottom of the motor area along with the other hoses. zip ties to secure the different cables/hoses neatly in their place.
like Sticker said, it's truly simple and can be done a few different ways.

IMHO its a little cleaner if you remove nipple and replace with 5mm screws. just make sure they are not longer then original and disrupt airflow in the intake.
i took my nipple to the local hardware store to match up the threads .30 cents

sickford50 is correct. that solution not only looks cleaners, but hey kids, it's safer too.
you don't want unfiltered air leaking into the throttle bodies, as this can really screw up the performance and allow contaminants to enter the throttle bodies, and eventually work their way into the cylinders.
if you have the workshop manual cd, look at the euro spec parts lists. you will see the 5mm screws and crush washers identified for each throttle body. your local dealer either will have these (doubtful, unless they are a cool dealer), or they can order them for you. or, you can simply use the correct thread size and depth screw from another application (honda uses the same size screw on some of their bikes). just make certain to get the correct thread length, as if it is too long, this will screw up (pun intended) the air / fuel flow in the throttle bodies.

Why not just run a hose between the two nipples? That way the nipples can still be used for balancing?

I bought the tpo parts kit. Mainly because I couldn't find a real how-to before I removed it. The tpo parts kit is one stop simplicity with good directions on how things are done. I am sure some of the other methods are much cheaper.
That thing should be yanked off of there before any other mod. It is hideous looking.
