I avoid Facebook and MySpace like the plague. Now if we could get a Hypermotard Twitter feed going I'd be all over that!

Twitter is a group instant messaging program that I use on my computer and phone. You can receive updates via SMS, the web or using apps on your phone. Say I'm sitting having a coffee and decide I'm going for a ride. I send a tweet "Hey who wants to ride with me in 1/2 hour", the message goes to my Twitter group and everyone who wants to go tweets me back "I'll be there in 15 minutes" of "can't ride, I'm busy."
Think of it as a mass, real time IM.
