Gutting stock exhaust??
I know its probably been mentioned before but who hear has gutted there stock exhaust and how were the results?? In my shop while another Hyp was being fitted with a slip-on,I was suprised the stock main pipe wasn't that heavy. I'm sure most of the weight comes from the overly restrictive baffles. I personaly like the look of the stock system and being employed at a Ducati shop will probably purchace the ducati performance mid pipe and ECU if the stocker can be gutted. Any info, photos weight differances perfomance info would greatly be appreciated. P.S...I also already know the performance gains with the full system and know how much is dropped with that system. I'm just curious of the results somone has attained with this set up as I may go that rout.

There has been a post befor on this topic. I did on a R1 before just for that reason because I liked the look of the stock exhaust and it worked out great and was really easy to do. Performance was great for about $60 and one hour of work.
I have a cheap stock experimental exhaust if your interested. If you don't have one at your shop.
