Zard full system
Looking for some advice on the following.
Currently have a Zard topgun fitted to my Hyper.
Have the collectors and a new ECU in hand.
If I fit the collectors and ECU myself will I be able to ride the bike to dealer for tuning. Will it run like a pig or do any damage.
Cheers
John

Get them shipped over to me and I will install them on my bike and try it out for you. I will return them when I am finished and you can benefit from my experience!

Thats what I did when I install my Arrow exhaust and race cam ECU. Bike ran OK, but not great.

Until the TPS is reset it might be a little crazy as the ECU will no know exactly what throttle position you are at - therefore it will be pulling data from the wrong fields in the ECU for fuel, ignition, etc...
Maybe just get the VDST and do it yourself? You will then be able to reset TPS and adjust the trim (though a CO meter is needed to do the trim correctly).

Thanks for the info guys, I think I will wait till I can get the dealer to fit and tune. No chance of riding here for a bit yet, horrible weather.

I never had a problem with mine and I rode it several miles after the install. I can tell you that after the PCII and dyno tuning it runs better all the way around.
Out!
