Sunday, warm report....

Here's a few pics from my little 'round the block yesterday.
Must say, I like it better without the little windscreen than with it, seems it created a little turbulence that used to go right up bottom-inside the helmet, so now it's clean, neat and I don't have the summer bugs zoomin up my nose anymore

also, I was going to do the same run on Saturday but on my other bike, 1400GT(C14) but the weather got so hot (42C) and the bike seemed to cook with it....not nice....wished I was on my Hyper then!

This morning’s 8am start was a nice cool 20C in stark contrast to the same time yesterday when it was 37C; a misty view of Sydney from Kurrajong.

Along the newly speed-zoned Bells Line Road buzzing with cops; it got tiring sitting on slightly over legal speeds, I stopped at Zig-Zag to get some more gear on in the colder mountain air.

Had to stop at Pearsons Lookout, still misty and cool but a great view over the canyon below.

After turning off at Ilford I got to Sofala, getting to be a bit touristy now, but a brilliant ride in and onward to Bathurst!

From Bathurst I went along to O’connell, enroute to Oberon, it started getting warm; stopped by the river for a snack. Nice bit of countryside.

The route went from Liverpool, Lithgow on the Bells, Ilford, Sofala, Bathurst, Oberon, Lithgow ad back along the Bells Line again, covered 522 kms; only fueled 3 times, got around 58(UK)mpg.
Notice I had the airhawk butt-saver, it worked well; after the long day I didn’t have any unique sore points…just slightly worn out… that comes with age
Pardon the phone quality pics... I’ve got a new camera and I haven’t worked it out all the buttons yet.
The Hyper went like a dream, the new Corsa3’s seem to grip well, I’ve got the suspension on the softer end of the scale, still no hassles as it had a ball in the bends.

Love this bike!!!

Well, we were working-neighbors once then, I worked a minute away with Mercedes-Benz;

There's a few great roads on the island, one good reason for living in Sydney is most are within an easy ride away! I have yet to do the Oxley Highway... one day soon I think...
Hey - I like your new exhaust, think they would sound rather exciting!!

Pete always love to read your rideout reports but hate the fact that you have all those fantastic roads and great sunshine whilst we sit here with grey skys wind and rain.

Keep up the good work and keep them reports coming.
