The HM isnt a super moto...so what is it?
I've heard about how the HM basically has sportbike like suspension and how you have to treat it like any other sport bike. However, I have also heard things on this forum about people taking it on dirt trails and jumping over bumps and off curbs.
Is the HM actually suited for those types of shennanigans? If so that is just another reason why I need this bike!

It certainly provokes shenanigans, but it's still just a naked sportbike, and works best when there's at least one wheel on the ground...

Little dirts A-OK!
The Hyper is a STREET BIKE, with a Motard look, but still just a GREAT street
bike. With the right tires like the Pirelli Syncs, and adjusting the suspension,
(like lowering the rear to increase rake) the Hyper, because of the semi long
travel suspension, & high ground clearance, will work fine for light duty dirt fire road stuff,
better than a regular street bike, remember that it was a Hyper that WON its
class at Pikes Peak! Aloha Alex

I just love that word 'shenanigans'.
+1 to what Alex said. This is quite a capable bike, in the right hands.

balance-wise it feels fine through the yard or on dirt roads or riding next to some railroad tracks. But the suspension rates are way too stiff for any real off roading. It was built for shenaniganism. I can't just hold a steady throttle in 2nd gear without lofting the wheel a few inches periodically.

All truths are self-evident?
Hey, I just thought of a great name for this bike! I think they should call it a "Hypermotard".

But then this raises the question of, what is a hypermotard?

Back in the day, we'd call it a proper Streetfighter.
