Dealer Hold Backs and Pricing 2008's?

Does anyone know if there are any dealer hold backs currently on the '08 Hypermotards?

What kind of pricing are your local dealers selling brand new '08 S models for?

Thanks

In CA, Del Amo Motorsports Hyper S $14.1K out the door. Berts Megamall $13.9 OTD. Used $10K all day long or pay off their loan.

In one more month all used bikes go down 10%, so $9K all day long. A shit market and bad economy make great deals.

If you dont know the game... the dealers bought the 09s 8 months ago. most dealers have been in the red for the last 3-4 months. The high end stuff like Ducs and BMWs are basicially not moving. Some dealers with low overhead will ride the next 6 months. The big 100,000 square foot guys are going to deal to keep cash flow.

keep looking, print every bike you like and call them a week or two after they fall off craigslist. All mods are free, dont accept any bike without original parts.

Think of it this way. You are posting on a site that prevents selling of anything ducati. The site is nation wide and the same 30 people use it. your market is very very small, so deals are easy.

My bike is worth $9K to me.

Call Pat Clark Motorsports, the Ducati dealer in Vegas. You will be blown away by how little they'll sell you a new '08 S for. WAY below list.

I can do that too:

I am sure the dealer's are trying to give deals, but are the financing companies still easily making the loans for bikes with our current economic state ??

Why would people have a dozen memberships?

I paid $1500 off MSRP last week. I probably could have pushed harder but I was happy with that.
