Anyone sporting a helmet with goggles?
I'm interested in wearing a MX type helmet with goggles and was wondering if anyone here is wearing a helmet like that. If so could you tell me how you like it and post some pics? Thanks alot.

At times I would use some MX goggles with my Arai XD at night. It worked okay, no photos though.
I switched to using some Oakley blades with clear lenses for night. I like it better than the goggles.

If the weather is hot I wear my motocross helmet with Ducati branded Oakley goggles.I find the googles very comfortable. The only issue I have is the increase in noise at speed.

I wear a Fox motocross helmet with oakley goggles and with sun glasses when it's too bright for the clear goggles. I need to get a nice pair of tinted goggles.
The thing I like about wearing the mx helmet is there are foam cut outs around the ears so it's much easier to hear the engine and others around/behind verses a road style helmet.
The down side is that at high speeds (60mph+), the visor starts to act as parachute and you have to re-adjust quite often...

Triple,
Your ducati arai, is that the XD or XD 3 ?? If its the XD, what are your thoughts on it ? AS I just won one on ebay at a really cheap price, so I am going to take the risk on it.

I wear my HJC off road helmet and Scott goggles on very hot days, and then when I'll be on backroads only, no highway. Its too noisy at speed and the visor starts to become an issue if you tilt your head up. Most of the time I just wear my HJC CLXSP with sunglasses and the shield up.

I have a Shoei MX Helmet I wear with either Oakley or Scott Goggles. Not a lot of Highway riding, so not to concerned with wind. I don't like how goggles knock down your Peripheral vision, so I'm purchasing a Bell Star to give a shot at....but may always prefer the Shoei for now.

I've got a few XD's and 1 XD3. I really can't tell the difference between the two when they're on. They did make a few changes in vents, chin bar area, stuff like that on the exterior.

I am fairly certain it is the XD.It is a very good helmet, the peak is probably not as good aerodynamically as my MX helmet but it looks good without the peak also.I have heard of people complaining of a distorted view due to the shape of the visor,I have no issues with the original visor or the tinted one I have put on it.
I dont wear the Arai that often. It was a freebee along with the Motard jacket and fitted bike cover.I prefer the jacket over the helmet and feel like a mobile Ducati advertisement if I wear the two together!

I got an XD3 for Christmas, and I like it a lot. The visor actually doesn't have the distortion my old XD had. I use a light smoke shield day or night, and it's fine. No goggles or sunglasses needed (though we'll see if this shield is dark enough come summer time).
I don't have any issues with the visor up to at least 90 mph. I love the fact that you can dip the visor to block the sun when it's low in the sky!
