Adjustable ride height link mounting.

Hey guys I've got a question.
I was putting an adjustable ride height link on my 08 standard hyper and
noticed something odd about the bottom mounting bolt.
As I was removing the bottom mounting bolt(bottom of shock and link)
the slider nut was on the right side(rear brake pedal side) and the head of
the bolt was on the left side of the bike. I was looking up the torque for
this bolt in the service manual and noticed that the manual says
to have just the opposite, with the head on the right side and the nut
on the left.
I don't really see what the difference would be but I wanted to know if
anyone else has experienced this.
Thanks

Spose it says your bike is an 1100 too

Turns out there are a lot of anomalies in the service manual and this sound like another one.

I would carry on as you were and just make sure it is torqued up properly when you finish which is the key thing.
