I've had the Scorp's on my tard for half a season now and love them. I'm not a hugely agressive rider but these tires stick in wet or dry. I love the look of the tread pattern as I think it suits the Hyper. Sad thing is there is too much snow up here right now to ride!!!

Cheers for the props.
It is a Givi Z1000 tall screen, I already had the screen sitting here so didn't wonna stump up for the extra cash (double and a half again) for the Tardis one.
So I set too and cut the Tardis headlight shape out and proceeded to make it fit, it works fantastic with taking all the bluster off my chest and my helmet is stillin steady breeze ... i.e. NO buffeting whatsoever.
Height wise it is probably 40 - 50 mm lower than the Tardis one from shift tech tec, will line em up side by side next week when Doon gets his and get a pic of the two bikes.
Sticker, encouraging post too for the tyres, mate of mine with a KTM 950 SM has them, tracks it and puts a knee down with no issue with traction.
Borracho, I agree I reckon they look bloody cool on this style of bike.

ciao fratello -
you will love the sync's if your looking to get mileage out of the tires on the tard. i got 7,200 miles on the syncs on my tard.
that said, i just replaced the syncs with a set of the bridgestone bt016 tires, as i found the syncs to be a little slippery when they get hot. mho, ymmv.
a presto,
johnc

That is big miles john, just come back from a quick scrub the shiny shit off ride, luv them.
It is 36 deg C here, about 95 f, no issues with traction whatsoever and our tar seal is very coarse too.
Be interested to see how the 016's last, nutha great tyre for the rear of the Tard is a Mich Pilot Road 2C, mate has one and he is tracking it and roading it with good milage.
Was it tyre temp or road temp or a combo john that you felt it was slippery?

ciao andi -
don't know what temp (had left my digital laser temp gage back in the tool box;-) ... but, i do know the tires got slippery when it was warmer outside, say ambient temps of between 85 and 95 degrees f. also, road conditions were very smooth, not course surface pavement. and god forbid if i hit any of the "black snakes" we have up here in nor cal. cal trans likes to put some sort of slippery sealing over surface cracks in the pavement ... especially on our mountain roads, on blind curves. this makes for really interesting moments when you see them mid corner and have to cross them to hit your apex.
anyway, i know the bt016's will not yield even half as many miles as the syncs did ... but i know they are WAY stickier ... so should provide more confidence when riding aggressively
