cat sensor question

Hi guys,
I have an 08 hyper,stock exhaust,I removed the cat to have it cored and do I leave the sensor on the cat or unplug and remove it.Thanks for your help.

The way I understand it you will need to leave it plugged in or else you will get an error. I have the performance ECU so have the probe removed but I didn't do it myself so I am not 100% sure. I guess that doesn't really help !

Assuming that you have the stock ECU, leave the 02 sensor installed and connected. Otherwise the check engine light will light up.

If you're running the stock ECU, leave the sensor in.
