Glendora Mountain Road
I need to Move! GMR is getting so crowded and so dangerous that I just have to vent! Nice Sunny So Cal day and no less than 100 Bikes this Morning, not to mention 50 or so road Bikes and a few cars. No Big deal except for the fact that two AssClowns on two seperate turns could'nt hold their lanes and the latter almost took me out. I got Pissed and chased him up a mile or so until I calmed down and went home. There have been a string of bike on bike crashes here in the last month and one fatality! While I'm writing this the Sheriff's helicopter is picking somebody else off the road. ( I live at the Bottom).
The reason I bought My "Tard" was for the simple fact that this stretch of road is close and fun. Just letting You Guy's know the Hill is getting a little scary( Urban Superbike Crowd).
Be Safe, Mark t.

Same thing happens every weekend in my area.
Save your breath...the weanies who need to hear it aren't the types that listen let alone visit sites like this. Sometimes a spike in law enforcement is welcome.
As a consequence, I ride almost exclusively during the week.

Hey Mark. 08Hyper lives near you and has told me many times to come out and ride GMR. I guess I'll wait until thing calm down a bit.
Be safe.
Cheers

Like in ALL public roads, we have to be careful and SHARE the road. Simple as that. I live about 2 miles from the Crest. I go up and just try and have fun.
Ride safe.

It's the warm weather. I rode both ACH and GMR last Sunday (when it was cold) and there were hardly any bikes on either. There were only 4 other bikes at Newc's when we got there and when we got to the saddle lookout on GMR there was only one other bike there.
Oh, how I hate the roads in summertime. Winter in SoCal has to be the best riding anywhere since we get so little rain normally and people freak out when it gets below 50. Coincidentally, its the same with sailing around here. The best wind and clearest days are in the winter but everyone says "It's too cold!" and doesn't want to go out!

You can have it, it's a horse trail not a road Make's La Tuna look like a superhighway.

Some Secret Alex! It's turning into every episode of Superbikes I've ever seen! Chode's with Mohawks on their Helmet's. Club Patches, etc. One Homeboy's Leathers we're so jacked up it looked it looked like he dragged them behind his Lowered Scion to get here.
Looked like an overstuffed Catchers Mitt from 1965. Good times!
Guess I'll have to Man up soon on a track day with you Guy's. Can't make the next one in Fontana, but soon. Mark T.
